Secure your account

Your Pady account is protected by bank-grade encryption by default. Layer these settings on top and you make it functionally impossible for anyone but you to move your money.

  1. 1

    Turn on biometric login

Settings → Security → Face ID / Fingerprint. This replaces the app-open PIN and is much harder to shoulder-surf.

  2. 2

Enable two-factor for transfers over ₦100k

Settings → Security → Large transfer 2FA. Any outbound transfer above your threshold requires a fresh code from your authenticator app or SMS.

  3. 3

    Set a trusted device list

Only phones you approve can log in. New devices trigger an email and require a code from an existing trusted device.

  4. 4

    Know the Freeze switch

On the home screen, tap Profile → Freeze account. This instantly halts all outbound transfers, card spends, and logins. Unfreeze the same way once you're safe.

  5. 5

    Add an emergency contact

Someone we can verify with if you ever lose your phone and can't get into your email. They can't move money — only verify identity.

Pro tips
  • Never share the SMS OTP with anyone — not even someone claiming to be Pady support. We will never ask for it.
  • Report suspicious login emails to security@padymoney.com and we'll investigate within an hour.
