This Privacy Policy explains how Edge Financial Technologies Ltd. ("Pady", "we") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our products and services.
1. What we collect
We collect three categories of information: information you give us directly (BVN, name, phone, email, selfie, address), information generated by your use of Pady (transactions, device, location), and information from third parties (KYC vendors, credit bureaus, banking partners).
2. How we use it
To open and operate your account, run transactions, prevent fraud, comply with the law, improve our products, and (with your consent) tell you about new features. We do not sell your data to third parties. We will never use your data to train external AI models without explicit consent.
3. Who we share it with
Our licensed banking partners, KYC and identity vendors, the Central Bank of Nigeria and NDIC where required by law, and our security and infrastructure providers — all under strict data processing agreements.
4. Your rights under NDPR
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email dpo@padymoney.com and we will respond within 30 days as required by the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation.
5. How long we keep it
While your account is open and for 7 years after closure, as required by the Central Bank of Nigeria for AML purposes. After that, we anonymize or delete the data.
6. Security
We use end-to-end TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, hardware-backed key storage, and continuous fraud monitoring. We are ISO 27001 certified and PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
7. Children
Pady is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes
We will notify you in the app at least 30 days before any material change to this policy.
