Open your Pady Account

Opening a Pady account is designed to feel as fast as sending a WhatsApp message. No branch visit, no passport photos, no long forms. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you tap Create account.

  1. 1

    Download the app

Grab Pady from the App Store or Google Play. The download is under 40MB and works on any phone running iOS 14 or Android 8 and above.

  2. 2

    Enter your phone number

We send a 6-digit code by SMS. If the network is slow, tap Resend after 30 seconds — we can also place a voice call with the code.

  3. 3

Add your BVN and date of birth

Your BVN is used only to confirm it's really you. We match against the national database in seconds and never store your PIN.

  4. 4

    Set your PIN and biometrics

Choose a 6-digit PIN you'll remember. Turn on Face ID or fingerprint so you never have to type it during checkout.

  5. 5

    Fund your wallet

Transfer any amount from another Nigerian bank to your new Pady account number, or top up with a debit card. First inbound transfer credits instantly.

Pro tips
  • Use the same phone number that's linked to your BVN — it skips an extra verification step.
  • Upgrade to Tier 3 later by adding a valid ID and a selfie. This raises your daily limit to ₦5,000,000.
